NORWAY 2020

The global pandemic meant a lot of cancelled plans. It meant very little was going to be the same.  My long-desired road trip from London to Norway felt unachievable. But, some positives also came about.

 

Between lockdowns of the countries between UK and Norway, a window of opportunity opened.  It enabled me to drive, without using ferries, from London to Oslo an d not need to quarantine for 10 days until I reached Norway.

It also meant that Norway was virtually empty without tourists. In many of the places I visited, I was the only person there. It gave me a lot of time to myself. To think, to reflect and to be present in the landscape.
